History Trip to the Gibraltar Archives ‘Falkland’s War Exhibition’.

It is the 40th anniversary of the Falkland’s war, and the Gibraltar Archives have put together an exhibition, at John Mackintosh Hall, highlighting Gibraltar’s contribution to the conflict. Not only is it interesting because of the historical significance but it is also helpful to our students as they complete their projects organised by the Friends of Gibraltar, which is based upon either Gibraltar’s ties to the Falkland’s or the Platinum Jubilee. This project is due on 3rd June. The aim of this visit, and the project, is to enrich their history lessons and build on their knowledge of local history.
