Fieldwork is an integral part in the work
The staff and students of the music department at Bayside have organised the first 'busking Friday' in order to promote the enjoyment of music and showcase the work of our students. They played outdoors as the students left school. It attracted crowds of younger students who stopped to listen. The experience was enjoyable for all! Looking forward to the next one.
Our A-Level Spanish and music students enjoyed the Zarzuela workshop last week. This was facilitated by the Ministry of Culture and was very beneficial to our students as they widened their experience of the Zarzuela genre.
Year 10s visited the Annual Photographic Society Exhibition at the Gustavo Bacarisas gallery. They were given a talk from Leslie Linares and Caroline Abrines from the Gibraltar Photographic Society. The students found the experience a valuable one.
