We would usually have invited you to a presentation in June/July before the school closed for the summer to talk to you about our school. We know that it is not quite the same but we have posted a presentation for you to look at (audio included in some slides) to give you an idea of what Bayside is like.
It's in our pastoral section together with our handbook and some other information you might find useful.
There's a global issue with attachments and the GCSE results are delayed in going out. Apologies for this. It is outside of our control.
Further to the statement made by Roger Taylor, Chair of OfQual, who said
"We have therefore decided that students be awarded their centre assessment for this summer – that is, the grade their school or college estimated was the grade they would most likely have achieved in their exam – or the moderated grade, whichever is higher". We will be issuing new statement of results as soon as we receive them from the exam boards. In the meantime we will still be responding to CAG requests via [email protected]. Please address all queries to this email rather than contacting your teachers directly. Dear Students,
You may have seen the recent press release stating that all results will be issued electronically https://www.chronicle.gi/gcse-and-a-level-students-to-collect-results-electronically/?fbclid=IwAR3ehUpbPEQlg0HM4uN_lzIQF-YtC5fCnd5GhQWowCTs1Z-1Bqu3_RnPS64 In order to ensure we send your results to the correct email, we would like you to confirm your contact details in the form we have published on your year's Google Classroom Information Page. In order to help you understand the Centre Assessed Grades process please read the student guide attached below.
