This is the Parents' Handbook for 2021-22. We have also posted a copy of the letter we gave the children and the student detail form which we asked all pupils to fill in and return to the school.
We hope you have a lovely summer and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns

Kleinwort Hambros Bank kindly donated £2500 to Student4Students. This charity is run by the Students and some of the teachers. It provides support for all students who might need it in order to continue with their education.
The Bayside and Westside Student Responsibility Teams joined forces to create a fun fair for Key Stage 3 pupils and raise money for charity at the same time.
It was a great success and the pupils had a great time. Over £2000 was raised. Dulcie Edwards carried out this initiative to promote dance in Bayside and especially as an encouragement for our male students who traditionally have not always engaged in dance.
The project entailed two mornings spent in rehearsal and a third morning performing in the atrium on podium level. The performances were not be a formal affair but rather in a transient style before school, at break, and during changeover times. The videos below show the rehearsals and performances. It is incredible what these students have achieved, most of them have never danced before and they managed to learn a choreography in two days and perform on the third. We hope this goes some way in promoting the perception of dance positively in school. Thank you to John Peace and his team for producing the magazine.
