Today students and teachers participated in Bayside’s 2nd Dapper Day and raised over £200 for Clubhouse Gibraltar in support of the Gentleman’s Ride Gibraltar. Prizes for most dapper student and teacher went to Gael Diaz and Paul Perez respectively.
Well done to all those who supported this initiative.

Bayside organised a funfair on the podium to celebrate King Charles III's coronation. We had a number of fun activites as well as some baked goodies which we sold to raise money for different charities which the school supports. Luckily we also had a great deal of volunteers who were willing to give up their time to help make it a great day for our young people - in keeping with the King's drive to volunteer your time! Thanks everyone for their efforts.
Star Wars Day proved to be great fun! Some staff and students dressed up and all Key Stage 3 form classes participated in the lightsaber competition. Each form class made a lightsaber with upcycled materials and the form tutors competed against each other. Ms Bishop from year 8 and Mr Duarte from year 7 were the finalists with Ms Bishop the ultimate winner. The winning form class then partook of the goodies inside the Death Star piñata carefully made by Mr Osborne. It was all great fun and an opportunity to have a laugh.
