Dear parent/guardian, the GHA via the Children’s Health Centre is offering a second opportunity for children between 12-15 years of age to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. The intent, if you wish to provide consent, is to administer the vaccine at the Children’s Health Centre on 19/11/21 between 510pm and 730pm. If you wish to avail yourself of this opportunity please access the link below and complete the consent form. Also included within the link are frequently asked questions (FAQ’s) which should facilitate the process of informed consent. For further information specific to the vaccine, please find at the head of the consent form an e-mail address and contact number/s.
Once you access the link and submit the consent form, GHA colleagues will contact you with an appointment within the times highlighted above. Please ensure your child brings a hard copy of your consent form when they attend, as this will facilitate a smooth vaccination process. You may accompany your child if you so wish. PLEASE NOTE THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS WEDNESDAY 17TH NOVEMBER 2021 at 1159pm. Late submissions will not be processed in view of the ongoing community-wide vaccination drive. If you have already been contacted by GHA in this regard, please ignore this communication. Congratulations to our year 12 student for his success in the annual Poetry Competition organised by Gibraltar Cultural Services and the Gibraltar Chronicle. There were a total of 184 entries and Matthew was the winner in the years 11-13 category.
Julian Corbacho is a year 9 student here in Bayside. He is a well-behaved and hard-working student who normally attracts little attention to himself. We felt that it was right to congratulate him for his achievement in dressage. This is the art of riding and training a horse in a manner that develops obedience, flexibility, and balance.
Julian has been practising the art of dressage for the last three years and he has only been competing this last year. In the competition he has to control the horse for eight minutes. Julian achieved the silver in the provincial finals in Malaga as part of the VII Copa de Doma Clásica de Andalucía - 2021 as part of the Dressage Sotogrande team on his horse Kira. We are very proud to hear of his achievement and want to extend our congratulations to him! Well done. Students are writing to their Spanish pen pal in Jaen - School, IES San Felipe Neri, en Martos (Jaen). They are very excited and eagerly waiting for their response in English.
This pen pal scheme will enable students to work and improve on their social and writing skills. It will promote patience, students will embrace their creativity and develop their curiosity. |
