As you may be aware, JCQ instructed examination boards to revise their specifications for GCSE and A-Level subjects for the June 2021 Examination Series.
We have updated our Options Booklets with details of these changes. Please note that not all specifications have been changed and this has also been highlighted. We are advising all students to familiarise themselves with this information. Teachers will be discussing these changes with students in lessons.

Gibraltar went into lockdown on 20th March. Official lessons did not take place for Year 12 students from this day, up until 16th June. In this time, work was posted for students online, via our online platform. The school followed the guidelines issued by the Department of Education, which aimed to ensure that students who did not have access to adequate resources at home, or students who did not have a positive working environment at home, were not disadvantaged.
Internal assessments had to be cancelled for the period of 12 weeks while students were not attending lessons. This has led to limited data on which predicted grades are based, in comparison to other years. Dear Parents,
A second positive case of COVID-19 has been identified within our school community. There is no identified epidemiological link between this positive case and the first case. The Contact Tracing team have been liaising with school staff and the Department of Education and have contacted all students/parents and relevant staff who are required to self isolate. Only individuals who have been deemed to have been in close contact with the positive case will be instructed to self isolate. Close contact is defined as close proximity within an enclosed area for a period of time longer than 15 minutes. If the Contact Tracing Bureau does not contact you, there is no need for you to self-isolate. If the Contact Tracing Bureau does not contact you, you should continue attending school as usual. Siblings and close contacts of students who have been asked to self-isolate should attend school as normal unless otherwise advised by the Contact Tracing Bureau. Students are reminded that they should not attend school if they have COVID symptoms. They should stay at home, self-isolate and call 111. Individuals who have specific concerns arising from any of this information are asked to contact the Head teacher, Mr Tavares. Morning All,
