Morning All,
A positive case of COVID-19 has been identified within our school community. The Contact Tracing team have been liaising with school staff and the Department of Education and have interviewed all teachers and students who were potentially close contacts of the individual who tested positive. All students and relevant staff who are required to self-isolate have already been provided with advice from the Contact Tracing Bureau. Only individuals who are deemed to have been in close contact with the positive cases will be instructed to self isolate. Close contact is defined as close proximity within an enclosed area for a period of time longer than 15 minutes. If the Contact Tracing Bureau does not contact you, there is no need for you to self-isolate. If the Contact Tracing Bureau has not contacted you, you should continue attending school as usual. If you have COVID symptoms you should not attend school. You should stay at home, self-isolate and call 111. Siblings or close contacts of students who have been asked to self-isolate should attend school as normal unless otherwise advised by the Contact Tracing Bureau. Individuals who have specific concerns arising from any of this information are asked to email [email protected]
