Last Wednesday 27th January, Year 12 students were privileged to attend a presentation at Westside School during which the charity “Learning from Auschwitz” was officially launched.
Following an introduction by the Minister of Education and Training, the Hon Clive Beltran, Mrs Naomi Hassan Weisfogel and her team treated the audience to a very touching and informative talk which centred on the theme of the Holocaust.
The charity will be sponsoring two students and one teacher from Bayside, Westside and the College of Further Education to visit Auschwitz this July. Year 12 students interested in taking part in this educational visit should obtain an application form from Ms Orfila by Wednesday 3rd February.
