Research into Childhood Cancer

In order to celebrate Philip Sacarello's memory and  the groundbreaking progress achieved in combating Childhood Cancer, RICC will be planting a Tree of Hope in the garden of St Bernard's Hospital on the 19th November. The intention is that this symbolic tree will inspire hope and strength in all people.

Bayside, together with all local schools, has helped RICC since its inception. It is because of this that the Committee has invited all staff and students to participate in this event by writing (on a paper leaf) a message of hope for the future. These messages will be planted among the roots of the tree.

Students at Bayside will be encouraged to write their message during their next PSHE lesson.
